Homemade Hummus!

Convenience is necessary at times, but this hummus recipe is just as quick as popping out to the shop to pick up a pot of overly processed product!


My number one favourite snack is without a doubt good ol' homemade hummus.

2 can of chickpeas

After seeing how easy it was to whip this up, I could not reason buying hummus from the store. Knowing exactly what goes into your food is essential when adopting a healthy lifestyle.


Below you will find my recipe for hummus, be sure to let me know if you try it out for yourself. I can guarantee you will never look back!

Ingredients 2 cloves garlic 3 tablespoon olive oil 2 tablespoons of lemon juice 1 teaspoon of cumin 1/4 cup of water 1 teaspoon of salt 1/4 teaspoon of paprika Method Add all ingredients to a food processor. Blend until smooth and creamy (If needed add more water one tablespoon at a time and continue to blend). Finally place your hummus in an air tight container of your choice, and enjoy!
